Barry Hughes has an extensive background in the power and industrial applications sector, currently serving as Products Manager for Sustainable Power and ATEX applications at Hewden Stuart PLC since September 2008. In this role, Barry focuses on sustainable power solutions that minimize noise, fuel consumption, and emissions while managing product lifecycles. Prior positions include Technical Operations Manager for industrial applications, where Barry specialized in temporary electrical products, and National Product Manager, overseeing profitability for power generation and electrical products. Barry's career began at Hewden in 1995, progressing from Project Manager and Service Supervisor to National Engineering Manager, leading a team of power engineers and managing national project logistics, product development, and electrical installations.

The new Hydraulic Breakers are fitted with trackers, an automated lubrication system and a quick fixing system to reduce downtime for customers.
