Puneet Chopra

Puneet Chopra is a seasoned Senior Technical Leader in the Network Infrastructure domain with extensive experience in telecommunications. Currently serving as the Telecom CTO at Hewlett Packard Enterprise since May 2023, Puneet previously held key positions at Kyndryl, including Director of Network Infrastructure and Cloud Architecture, as well as Associate Director for Global Domain Leadership in Networks. Puneet's notable tenure at IBM from June 2006 to August 2021 involved leadership roles within Telco Network Solutions, where significant achievements included meeting global client requirements and generating a business pipeline valued at around 200 million USD. Earlier experiences include managerial roles at Ericsson and Siemens Telecommunications, where notable contributions included designing a large-scale IP/MPLS network for Reliance Communications. Puneet holds advanced degrees in Telecom System Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, an MBA from the Indian Institute of Management, and a Bachelor of Engineering in Electronics and Telecommunications from Savitribai Phule Pune University.
