Raja Thangarajah

Raja Thangarajah has a diverse work experience spanning several companies in the technology industry. Raja began their career at BNR - Nortel as a HW QA Engineer before moving on to Nortel Networks as a Verification Engineer. Raja then worked at BNR - Nortel again as a Senior Verification Engineer, where they were responsible for test plan development, review, and execution. Raja joined Cerent Corporation as a Verification Engineer briefly before joining Cisco Systems Inc. At Cisco, Raja held various roles including Senior System Verification Engineer, Software Development QA Manager, and Sr Software Development Leader. During their time at Cisco, they gained extensive leadership experience and was involved in building and managing global teams, handling customer escalations, and negotiating with partners and vendors. In 2013, Raja joined Aruba, a Hewlett Packard Enterprise company, as a Sr Software Director for Campus Switching. Most recently, they have been working at Hewlett Packard Enterprise as the Vice President of Engineering.

Raja Thangarajah completed a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering at the University of Toronto from 1992 to 1996. In 2014 and 2015, they attended the Harvard Business School, where they obtained a degree in Business Development for Directors, specializing in Management Information Systems. Currently, they are pursuing a degree in Operational Excellence at the MIT Sloan School of Management, with a focus on Operations Management and Supervision starting in 2023.
