Tom Black leads HPE’s Storage business group, including primary storage, all-flash and hybrid storage, collaborative platforms, big data storage, and hyperconverged infrastructure solutions. HPE has the most comprehensive intelligent data platform in the industry that provides customers with performance, automation, AI-powered analytics, and simplicity.

Tom has more than 20 years of experience in networking and four issued patents. Prior to leading Storage, Tom was the Senior Vice President & General Manager for Enterprise, Data Center and SMB switching products for Aruba, a Hewlett Packard Enterprise company.

Prior to joining HPE, Tom led hardware, silicone, and software teams within Arista Networks, Cisco, Cerent, and HP. He was an industry pioneer in Packet Optical networking products, and drove strategy, architecture and early execution of large SP Routers.

Tom is based in San Jose, California.
