Troy Sutherland

Troy Sutherland has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Troy is currently the Director of Sales and Business Development at Hexagon US Federal, a position they have held since March 2023. Prior to this, Troy worked at PeopleTec, Inc. as a Director from January 2022 to March 2023, and as a Deputy Program Manager from November 2020 to January 2022. Troy also had roles at Booz Allen Hamilton as a Deputy Program Manager from August 2019 to November 2020, and as a Senior Business Analyst from May 2018 to August 2019. Before that, Troy worked at SAIC as a Senior Financial Analyst from October 2014 to May 2018. Troy started their career at QinetiQ North America as a Configuration Management Analyst, supporting the U.S. Army, from November 2012 to October 2014. Additionally, Troy has a background in collegiate sports, having been a Varsity Baseball Player at the University of Alabama from August 2008 to February 2012. Troy also served as a representative for the Student Athletic Advisory Committee, where they coordinated charitable and volunteer efforts for the university community from August 2009 to December 2011.

Troy Sutherland obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Business Management from The University of Alabama between 2008 and 2012. Later, from 2014 to 2016, they pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree with a focus on Business Administration and Management at the University of Alabama Huntsville. In December 2016, they also acquired the Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute.
