Dan Kvitek has worked in various roles in the scientific field since 2003. Dan began as a Researcher at the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 2003. In 2007, they moved to Stanford University School of Medicine where they worked as a Researcher, understanding the genomic basis of adaptive evolution using next-generation sequencing. In 2010, they began working as a Teaching Assistant at Stanford University. In 2012, they moved to Invitae where they worked as an R&D Scientist. Finally, in 2017, they began working at Hexagon Bio as the Director of Automation and Principal Scientist.
Dan Kvitek obtained a Bachelor of Science in Genetics from the University of Wisconsin-Madison between 2003 and 2007. Dan then went on to Stanford University to pursue their Doctor of Philosophy in Genetics, which they completed in 2012.
