J. Colin Cox

J. Colin Cox, PhD, is a distinguished molecular biologist with a diverse background in laboratory automation and synthetic biology. Currently serving as Senior Director of Automation at Hexagon Bio, responsibilities include managing laboratory automation infrastructure and supporting various scientific teams. Previously, leadership roles at Strateos involved building a synthetic biology team and developing automated assays, while a tenure at Seer focused on automation for liquid handling technologies. Earlier experience includes creating screening teams at Synthego Corporation, overseeing genetic analysis at Genentech, and managing a research lab at Duke University Medical Center.
