Tara Meiners

Tara Meiners is a seasoned educator and bilingual sales representative with extensive experience in multilingual education. Since September 2019, Tara has worked as a Bilingual Sales Representative at Hexagramm Books US, LLC, specializing in supplying children's literature in multiple languages to dual language immersion schools. Concurrently, since September 2015, Tara serves as a Bilingual Teacher for first-grade French dual language students, utilizing a collaborative instructional model. Additionally, Tara has provided private tutoring since September 2016, focusing on literacy, math, and French as a Second Language. Previous roles include Adjunct Lecturer of French at CUNY College of Staten Island and English as a Second Language Instructor through the Teaching Assistant Program in France. Tara holds a Master’s degree in Bilingual and Multilingual Education from Hunter College and certifications in teaching French as a foreign language. Educational background also includes a Bachelor's degree in Education with minors in French and Psychology.
