Steve Powell

Steve Powell has worked in the field of business intelligence and analytics since 2012. In 2012, they began as a Business Data Analyst Intern at Da. In 2013, they joined Hexaview Technologies Inc. as a Senior Business Consultant, where they were responsible for directing important client engagements, driving knowledge management, and working closely with project teams to understand requirements. Steve then moved into the role of Analytics Manager, where they were responsible for enhancing business capabilities, collaborating with teams, and handling presales. Finally, they were a Senior Business Intelligence Analyst, where they were responsible for overall quality checks of client insight profiles, managing expectations with junior analysts, and working hands-on on complex tasks. Before that, they were a Business Intelligence Analyst, where they conducted quantitative/qualitative data analysis, collaborated with individuals throughout the organization to understand data visualization needs, and presented reports.

Steve Powell attended Penn State University from 2006 to 2010, where they earned a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science. Steve then attended St. John's University from 2012 to 2014, where they earned a Master's degree in Business Analytics. In 2018, they attended General Assembly to obtain a Big Data certification.
