Global EHS Governance Leader at Hexion

Sergio Vanalli is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) and process safety governance, currently serving as the Global EHS Governance Leader at Hexion Inc. since August 2003. Vanalli has held various positions, including Senior Director of Health and Safety and Senior Manager of EHS in different regions, effectively leading initiatives that supported EHS objectives across manufacturing facilities in Latin America and Australia/New Zealand. Prior to Hexion Inc., Vanalli held significant roles at Furukawa, where certifications for ISO quality and environmental management systems were achieved, and at Buschle & Lepper S.A., where productivity improvements were realized in the magnesium hydroxide production process. Vanalli holds degrees in Safety Engineering and Mechanical Engineering from prominent Brazilian institutions.
