Ronald Parsons

Ronald Parsons has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning various roles and industries. In their current role as the Director of Quality & Laboratory Manager at HEXO Corp since August 2021, they are responsible for overseeing quality control processes and managing the laboratory operations.

Prior to their current position, Ronald worked at BGG North America from October 2018 to October 2019, initially as the Director of Quality Assurance & Innovation. Ronald managed the Quality Assurance program, including maintaining SOPs and calibration records, providing training for cGMP, and managing external vendors. Additionally, they conducted testing on two strains for next-generation products at the production facility in China.

From August 2011 to October 2018, Ronald held the position of Senior Principal Scientist at Solix Algredients, Inc. Ronald contributed to various research projects and played a key role in managing the company's pilot plant, which produced algal biomass. The facility had a substantial photosynthetic area and large culture volume.

Before joining Solix Algredients, Ronald worked at Lancaster Laboratories as a Principal Scientist from April 2008 to June 2009, where they contributed to scientific research.
