Tony Nguyen

Tony Nguyen has a diverse work experience across different industries. Tony started their career at HiPP-Gruppe, where they worked as a Laboratory Assistant and later as an apprentice in Food Technology. After that, they joined Apple as a Sales and Business Specialist, and later transitioned to the role of Technical Specialist. Tony then moved on to N26, where they worked as a Compliance Officer in the Complaints Control function. Tony also gained experience as a Research Assistant at Deutscher Bundestag and as a B2B Consultant at DOCTOLIB. Tony further expanded their compliance expertise at Trade Republic and fina, where they served as a Compliance Officer and Compliance Manager respectively. Currently, Tony is working at Ratepay as a Compliance Manager in the Central and AML function.

Tony Nguyen obtained a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Political Science and Government from Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität München from 2015 to 2018. Tony then pursued a Master of Arts (MA) degree in Political Science and Government from Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin, which they are currently on hold from 2019 to 2021. In addition to their formal education, Tony has obtained several certifications. These include a Risk Money Laundering 2022 certification from Frankfurt School of Finance & Management in November 2022, a Compliance and practice perspective for complaint management certification from AH Akademie für Fortbildung Heidelberg GmbH in December 2021, a Principles of AML and financial crime certification from ACAMS in November 2021, a WpHG & MaComp Compliance in practice certification from FORUM Institut für Management GmbH in November 2021, a General and Business English Intense certification from Embassy English in October 2015, a First Aid Personnel certification from Bayerisches Rotes Kreuz (BRK) in July 2015, and an Examination Certificate from HiPP-Gruppe in September 2007.
