Alyssa Martin has a diverse background in various roles within the marketing and community industries. Alyssa started their career as a Project and Design Coordinator at The Minery Ltd. from December 2015 to May 2018. Alyssa then worked as a Marketing Coordinator - Contract at 3M from June 2018 to December 2018. Alyssa joined Willis as a Marketing Coordinator from September 2019 to March 2021. Alyssa then transitioned to HeyOrca!, where they held roles as a Customer Success Manager from March 2021 to December 2021, a Content Marketer from December 2021 to July 2022, and currently serves as a Community Manager since July 2022. Additionally, Alyssa has been selected as a Commsor Guild Member at Commsor, starting in March 2023, where they will share their expertise in community through resources and virtual events.

Alyssa Martin pursued their education by obtaining a Diploma in Interactive Media Design and Production from Fanshawe College, which they completed from the period of 2013 to 2015. Following this, they pursued a Bachelor's degree in Educational and Digital Technology from Ontario Tech University, which they completed between 2015 and 2017.

In addition to their formal education, Alyssa Martin has also obtained various certifications. In May 2022, they completed the Facebook Community Manager Online Course offered by Facebook. In June 2021, they obtained a certification in Inbound Marketing from HubSpot Academy, as well as one in Email Marketing. In September 2020, they completed the SEO Training Course: Building Sustainable Traffic for Business Growth offered by HubSpot. Lastly, in April 2020, Alyssa Martin obtained a certification in Google Analytics for Beginners from Google.
