Miranda Russell

Miranda Russell currently serves as the Nurse Education & Training Associate Director and previously held the position of Senior Manager at Rowan since October 2020. Additionally, Miranda is a Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner with the Polk County Sexual Assault Response Team and an Adjunct Instructor at Des Moines Area Community College, both also starting in October 2020. Earlier experience includes serving as a Nurse Care Manager at Primary Health Care from October 2019 to December 2020, and an Independent Director at Thirty-One Gifts from 2011 to 2016. Miranda's nursing career began with roles at the State of Iowa as a Registered Nurse from March 2006 to December 2013 and at Mirage Properties as a Property Manager/Leasing Agent from 2001 to 2005. Education includes a Master's degree in Nursing Informatics and a Bachelor's degree in Registered Nursing from the University of Phoenix, as well as two Associate’s Degrees from Hawkeye Community College. Training culminated with completing LPN coursework at Kaplan University.
