Benito Mendez Sanchez

Benito Mendez Sanchez has had an extensive work experience since 2011. Benito began their career as a Web & Mobile App Designer & Developer at the Boston Microsoft BizSpark Startup Meetup. In 2011, they were also selected for the Yuzz program from Banesto Foundation, where they developed the business plan of their project Pay-Manager. In 2012, they started working as a mHealth Consultant at flowlab and a Certified Organizer at NetDay Salamanca. In 2014, they became a Scrum Master at BBVA Venezuela and in 2016, they were an Agile Coach & Senior Scrum Master at BBVA España. In 2017, they were Chief Technology Officer at Eurobits and in 2020, they became Co-Founder - Chief Product & Technology Officer at HeyTrade, where they were responsible for hiring and retaining 30 Engineers, launching the platform in one year, and understanding how the company can use technology as leverage to scale aggressively and innovate.

Benito Mendez Sanchez has an extensive education history. Benito obtained a Degree in Computer Science Engineering from the Universidad de Las Palmas de Gran Canaria in 2003-2011. Benito then completed a Mobility Program Sicue / Seneca at the Universidad Pontificia de Salamanca in 2009-2010. Following this, they completed a Mobility Program Socrates / Erasmus at the Lodz University of Technology in 2010-2011. Benito then obtained a Master's degree in Software Engineering from the Universidad Pontificia de Salamanca in 2012-2013, followed by a Master's degree in Mobile Computing and Smart Cards from the same institution in 2011-2012. Subsequently, they obtained a Doctorado en Tecnologías de la Información y Comunicaciones from the Universidad Rey Juan Carlos in 2015-2018. Benito then completed an Experto Universitario in Investigación en Ciencias de la Computación at UNIR - La Universidad en Internet in 2018. Benito is currently pursuing a Doctorado in Ciencias de la Computación at the same institution, which they began in 2018. Additionally, they hold certifications in LEAN IT Foundation from EXIN your ICT competence partner (2016), ITIL® Foundation Certificate in IT Service Management from EXIN your ICT competence partner (2016), and Implementing SAFe SPC 4.0 from Scaled Agile, Inc. (2017).
