Marilen Benner is a consultant in Life Sciences, Health, and Food at Hezelburcht Grant & Funding Consultancy since September 2021. Prior to this role, Marilen completed a PhD at the Radboud Institute for Molecular Life Sciences, focusing on uterine immunity from November 2016 to September 2021. Marilen also engaged in a research project at Harvard University, analyzing the capacities of regulatory T cells at the fetal-maternal interface, and conducted various research projects at Radboudumc, investigating endometrial and placental lymphocytes, as well as the role of heparanase in nephritis. Marilen holds a Master’s Degree in Molecular Mechanisms of Disease and a Bachelor’s Degree in Medical Biology, both from Radboud University.
