Peter Snelling

Peter Snelling has extensive work experience in the care and support sector. Peter is currently serving as the Chief Care & Support Officer at Hft since January 2023. Prior to this, they worked at Consensus Support as the Director of Operations from November 2019 to January 2023. Before that, they held the position of Group Operations Director at Avenues Group from September 2009 to December 2019. Peter also served as a Director at AFFINITY TRUST from 2007 to 2009, and at Servite Houses from 2000 to 2005. Additionally, they worked as an Assistant Director at Bield Housing & Care from 1995 to 2000, and as a Registration & Inspection Officer at Scottish Borders Council from October 1993 to 1995. Peter also has experience at The City of Edinburgh Council as a Residential Care Home Manager from 1989 to 1993, as well as at London Borough of Bexley as a Residential Care Manager from 1987 to 1989. Peter began their career as a Unit Coordinator MCCP at Kent County Council in 1985.

Peter Snelling obtained a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from Edinburgh Napier University between 1990 and 1993. Prior to that, they attended Mid-Kent College to earn a CQSW degree, but the duration of their studies at this institution is unknown.
