Eric Roeder is the Fire Protection Department Leader at HGA. Eric has over fifteen years of experience in fire protection engineering, project management, and business development.

Eric began their career as a Fire Protection Engineer with The Protection Engineering Group, Inc. in 2007. Eric then spent three years with Codex Engineering as a Project Supervisor before joining AECOM in 2012. Eric spent four years with AECOM, where they led design and project management on fire alarm, suppression, and life safety projects. In 2016, they joined Jensen Hughes as the Market Leader. Eric spent five years with Jensen Hughes before joining HGA in 2021.

Eric is a licensed professional engineer in multiple states and is certified by the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) as a Fire Protection Specialist. Eric is a member of the Society of Fire Protection Engineers (SFPE) and the International Association of Fire Chiefs (IAFC).

Eric Roeder is a certified professional engineer who has a Bachelor of Science in Fire Protection Engineering from the University of Maryland and a Master's of Engineering in Fire Protection Engineering from the University of Maryland. Eric also has certification from the Florida Department of Business and Professional Regulation in Professional Engineer, from the State of Missouri in Professional Engineer, from the Commonwealth of Virginia in Professional Engineer, from ASIS International in Physical Security Professional, from the Maryland Department of Labor in Professional Engineer (PE), and from the DC Department of Consumer & Regulatory Affairs (DCRA) in Professional Engineer (PE).

Eric Roeder reports to Tim Carl, CEO & Design Principal. They are on a team with Brad Kult - Director, Technology Services, Hal Henderson - Principal & Office Director, Rochester, and Diane Chilangwa - Interior Design Department Leader.
