Miya Preston is a Plumbing Designer at HGA Architects and Engineers since April 2017, specializing in plumbing design within the healthcare sector while collaborating with senior engineers and architects. Prior experience includes a role as Plumbing and Fire Protection Intern at exp Global Inc., where Miya practiced plumbing design principles and expanded knowledge into hospitality, gaming, and entertainment markets. Earlier experience as a Mechanical Engineering Intern at RTM Engineering Consultants involved assisting on projects in healthcare and educational markets, focusing on HVAC and plumbing layouts using AutoCAD MEP and Revit MEP. Miya holds a Bachelor of Science and a Master of Science in MEP from the Milwaukee School of Engineering, completed in 2019, following a high school diploma from Kettle Moraine Lutheran High School in 2014.
