Audrey Gélinas

Audrey G. is currently a Tutor at the Medical University of South Carolina, focusing on chemistry for the Summer Institute program aimed at enhancing MCAT scores and supporting underrepresented aspiring medical students. Previous experience includes serving as a Medical Science Trainee under Dr. Catrina Robinson in Neurology, assisting with research on amyloid-beta 42 and hyperinsulinemia, and roles such as Research Coordinator and Writer for Carolina CrossTalk, where peer-reviewed manuscripts and undergraduate research were promoted. Audrey also held leadership positions within the Pre-Health Virtual Journal Club as President and Vice President of Operations, coordinated mentorship in the Honors Residence Hall, and contributed to research at the University of South Carolina School of Medicine. Additional experience includes tutoring across various educational levels and organizing the TEDxYouth@Columbia conference. Audrey G. is pursuing a Doctor of Medicine and Doctor of Philosophy in Medicine at the Medical University of South Carolina, following a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical/Medical Engineering from the University of South Carolina.
