Pere Alfaras

Senior Bridge Engineer at H&H

Pere Alfaras has over 15 years of experience in the field of engineering. Pere started their career as a Structural Engineer at CGA in 2006 and worked there for one year. Pere then joined IDOM in 2008 as a Structural Engineer and remained there until 2014. During this time, they also worked as a Lecturer at the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya from 2009 to 2014. In 2015, Pere joined Arcadis as a Bridge Engineer and later took on roles as a Senior Bridge Engineer and Principal Bridge Engineer. Pere worked at Arcadis until 2021. In 2022, they joined COWI as a Principal Engineer and worked there until early 2023. Currently, Pere is working as a Senior Bridge Engineer at H&H, starting in March 2023.

Pere Alfaras began their education at the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya in 2000, where they pursued a degree in Civil Engineering. Pere attended the university until 2009, during which they completed their studies in Civil Engineering.

In 2005, Pere Alfaras went on to study at Chalmers University of Technology, specializing in Structural Engineering. Pere obtained a Master of Science degree in Structural Engineering from Chalmers University of Technology in 2008, and concluded their studies in the field.

Aside from their academic achievements, Pere Alfaras also holds two additional certifications. In 2019, they obtained the APM Project Management Qualification (PMQ) (SCQF Level 7) from the Association for Project Management. In 2017, they earned the CEng MICE certification from the Institution of Civil Engineers (ICE).
