Janet Strain

Janet Strain, PharmD, currently serves as a Clinical Pharmacist at HHI Infusion Services since November 2016, where responsibilities include reviewing clinical patient data and communicating with physicians regarding specialty medication authorizations. Previously, Janet worked as a Clinical Pharmacist at CVS/Caremark, where duties involved approving medication prior authorizations for various disease states. Experience as an Independent Contractor at Midwestern University included facilitating workshops and supervising student pharmacists in medication therapy management. Janet's background also includes roles as Community Pharmacy Resident at Kroger, Staff Pharmacist at Mercy Community Pharmacy at Pulaski, and Pharmacy Manager at Target Pharmacy, along with foundational experiences as a Pharmacy Intern at both Target Pharmacy and Osco Drug. Educational credentials include a PharmD from Midwestern University and a BS in Psychology from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
