Paul Manser

Paul Manser has a strong background in biostatistics, with experience in various roles spanning multiple companies and academic institutions. Paul is currently the Director of Biostatistics at HI-Bio, a position they have held since May 2023. Prior to this, they served as the Director of Biostatistics at Annexon Biosciences from May 2022 to May 2023.

Before entering the industry, Manser gained valuable experience as a graduate student at Virginia Commonwealth University from May 2011 to January 2015. During this time, they also worked as a teaching assistant from August to December 2011. Paul further expanded their research experience as a Research Assistant at the Virginia Institute of Psychiatric and Behavioral Genetics from May 2011 to January 2015.

Manser's career began at Eastern Virginia Medical School, where they worked as a Consulting Biostatistician from February 2011 to August 2014. Paul had previously gained experience as a teaching assistant at the University of Virginia from August 2010 to May 2011 and as a Biostatistician Intern from March 2010 to May 2011.

With a comprehensive background in biostatistics and a range of experience in both industry and academia, Manser brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to their current role as Director of Biostatistics at HI-Bio.

Paul Manser completed their education in a chronological order. Starting from 2005 to 2009, they attended the University of Virginia for their Bachelor of Arts degree in Mathematics and Physics. Following that, they pursued a Master of Science degree in Statistics from the same university, which they completed between 2009 and 2011. Lastly, Manser attended Virginia Commonwealth University from 2011 to 2015, earning a Doctor of Philosophy degree in Biostatistics with a concentration in Genomics.
