Advanced Gameplay Programmer at Hi-Rez Studios

Alexander Greenstein has extensive work experience in the gaming industry. Alexander began their career at eUnited, where they excelled as a Professional eSports Player in the game Smite. Alexander achieved notable success, including becoming a World Championship Finalist and earning the title of Best Mid Laner in NA in Spring 2017.

Following their eSports career, Alexander joined Hi-Rez Ventures as an Associate Gameplay Programmer for Smite. In this role, they developed and maintained code for new gods, game modes, skin tech, and monthly content rollouts. Alexander then progressed to the role of Gameplay Programmer, where they spearheaded the development of procedural camera and visual tech. Alexander also collaborated with other departments to create multidisciplinary internal tools.

Currently, Alexander holds the position of Lead Gameplay Programmer at Hi-Rez Ventures. In this role, they lead a team of gameplay programmers, overseeing the complete lifecycle of gameplay features. Alexander is responsible for managing scheduling, task delegation, and conducting performance and code reviews.
