Stephen Hutchins has over thirteen years of experience in the video game industry, specializing in marketing and analytics. Stephen is currently the Director of Marketing at Hi-Rez Studios, where they have worked for the past five years and seven months. Prior to Hi-Rez, Stephen worked at Gunjin Games Ltd as the Analytics and Marketing Manager. There, they were responsible for designing and implementing the analytics solution for Auto Warriors, as well as developing and implementing the marketing strategy, brand positioning, and go-to-market plan.
Before Gunjin Games, Stephen spent eight years and two months at NCSOFT, where they held positions such as Marketing Manager, Europe; Product Manager, Europe; Senior Web Analyst; and Business/Data Analyst. In these roles, they were responsible for developing and implementing core communication and brand strategies for all NCW products in EMEA territories, conducting market analysis and strategic positioning, and coordinating European and North American pre/post-launch activities relating to various video games.
Stephen holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from the University of Colorado.
Stephen Hutchins has a Marketing Week Mini MBA with Mark Ritson, a Chartered Institute of Marketing DipM ACIM in Strategic Marketing, and a BA (Hons) in Business Studies from the University of Brighton. Stephen also has a European Baccalaureate from the European School Culham and is a MCIM and CIM MCIM Member from the Chartered Institute of Marketing.
