Senior Art Director at Hi5

James See has a diverse work experience in the field of art direction. James started their career at Saatchi & Saatchi, where they worked as an Art Director from 2008 to 2010. During this time, they created print and digital ads for various clients, including the 2015 Camry and the 2013 RAV4. James also contributed to the development of a character for Toyota sports partnerships.

From 2009 to 2010, James worked as a Freelance Art Director before joining Amazon in 2017. At Amazon, they served as an Art Director and played a key role in developing commercials for the Destiny 2 Alexa Skill and creating a landing page for Newell Holiday. James'swork on the landing page resulted in a successful return on ad spend (ROAS) and high product sales.

In 2019, James became self-employed and took on the role of Associate Creative Director/Senior Art Director. During this time, they focused on creating social content and ads for Blizzard Activision's game, Hearthstone. James also worked on promotions and expansions in collaboration with key art.

In 2021, James joined hi5.agency as an Integrated Art Director, where they led creative efforts for Hearthstone, Fender, and Spotify Jobs accounts. James created video and static assets for social media distribution.

Currently, James is working at hi5.agency as a Senior Art Director. In this role, they are the Creative Lead for the Hearthstone and Diablo accounts. James is responsible for creating social content for both clients, including static designs and video production.

James See completed a Certificate in Advertising at The Book Shop LA from 2003 to 2007. Prior to that, they obtained a BFA in Visual Communications from California State University, Long Beach, graduating between 1998 and 2005.
