Idan Moldavski has a diverse work experience in the legal field. Idan is currently working as a Lawyer at Idan Moldavski Law Office. Prior to this role, they gained experience as a Legal Fellow at HIAS, where they represented and litigated proceedings for pro-bono clients regarding their legal status in Israel, and supported research and strategic litigation efforts.
Before that, Idan worked as an Associate Lawyer and Head of Litigation at Alex Zernopolsky Law Office. Idan also served as an Associate Lawyer at Eli Halm Law Office, where they advocated for clients in civil litigation and legal malpractice cases and provided ongoing legal and litigation support for a project management company.
Idan's experience also includes working as an Associate Lawyer at the Law Offices of Adv. Yossi Melcer, where they handled a wide array of litigation matters in civil and criminal law. Idan coordinated an independent caseload, assisted senior attorneys in preparations for mediation, settlements, and trials, and composed various legal documents.
In addition, Idan has gained valuable experience through their roles as a Legal Intern at the Law Offices of Yossi Melcer, Law Offices of Guy Brand, Adv., and Smadar Ben-Natan & Michal Pomeranz Law Office. As a legal intern, they honed their skills in various areas of litigation and supported lawyers in case preparation, legal research, and drafting legal documents.
Furthermore, Idan has dedicated their expertise to voluntary work. Idan served as a Legal Volunteer at the Hotline for Refugees and Migrants, where they assisted asylum seekers with their legal status issues and represented clients before the Appeals Tribunal. Idan also worked as a Project Coordinator for the AAA Project at the African Refugee Development Center, overseeing a team of international interns, evaluating paralegal submissions, and collaborating with partner NGOs to address challenges faced by asylum-seekers in Israel.
Idan Moldavski completed their Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) degree in Law from Tel Aviv University from 2014 to 2018. To enhance their legal knowledge, they also studied at Monash University in 2017, again earning a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) degree in Law. Additionally, they obtained a certification as an Attorney from the Israel Bar Association in January 2020.
Looking to further specialize in their field, Idan plans to pursue a Master of Laws (LLM) degree in Public Law from Northwestern University. Idan is expected to commence their studies in 2022 and complete them by 2023.
