Petra Rudisill

International Human Resources Coordinator at HIAS

Petra Rudisill's work experience began in 2016 as a Student Intern at New Era Colorado, where they contributed to registering over 50,000 people to vote and participated in phone banking and canvassing activities. Petra then worked as a Nanny for the Longstreet and Adams Families from 2019 to 2020, managing schedules and caring for two children while also serving as a project manager for other nannies. In 2020, they became an Executive Assistant at Global Management Analytics, and in 2021, they worked as a Child Welfare Program Team Lead at TalentWave, overseeing operations at an emergency facility and managing staff to provide a positive experience for at-risk children. Currently, Petra is an International Human Resources Associate at HIAS, starting in 2022.

Petra Rudisill attended the University of Colorado Boulder from 2015 to 2019, where they pursued a degree in International Affairs. During their time there, they focused on Spanish and Iberian Studies as well as Economics. In 2017, Petra also had the opportunity to study at the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona, furthering their studies in International Affairs/Relations with a focus on Economics and Spanish. Additionally, they completed a certificate program in International Relations and Affairs at Sciences Po Bordeaux in 2017. Prior to their university education, Petra obtained their High School Diploma from Venice High School in 2015, where they specialized in the World Language Magnet program.
