Matthew Freese

Matthew Freese began their work experience in 2012 as a Middle School Math teacher with Teach for America. Matthew then worked as an Assistant Principal at Saint Louis Public Schools from 2016 to 2018. Since 2018, they have been with Hiawatha Academies, where they have held various roles including Dean of Students, Assistant Principal, and is currently serving as the Principal.

Matthew Freese attended Bethel University from 2007 to 2011, but their degree and field of study are unknown. Matthew then pursued a Master of Arts degree in Secondary Education and Teaching at the University of Missouri-Saint Louis from 2012 to 2014. Lastly, they completed a Master of Education degree in Organizational Leadership at Columbia University from 2015 to 2016.
