Cindy Jacobs Ph.D., M.D. has extensive experience in the medical field. Cindy began their career in 1985 as a Corporate Staff Scientist/Associate Director of Clinical Research at Immunex Corp, where they developed and led preclinical animal models for evaluating pharmacokinetic and pharmacodynamic treatment effects of novel cytokines and cytokine receptors. In 1993, they moved to CellPro Incorporated (CPRO) as Vice President of Clinical Research and completed two FDA approvals for the CEPRATE Stem Cell Concentration System for autologous bone marrow and peripheral blood progenitor cell selection for autologous transplantation in the treatment of cancer. In 1999, they joined Corixa Corporation (CRXA) as Chief Medical Officer and Senior Vice President of Clinical Development and integrated operations in Corixa’s acquisition of Coulter Pharmaceuticals, leading to market approval of a novel radioimmunotherapy product. In 2005, they moved to OncoGenex Pharmaceuticals as Executive Vice President and Chief Medical Officer and identified strategic options that led to a re-negotiated favorable deal for OncoGenex to continue lead-product development for an antisense oligonucleotide treatment for metastatic prostate and lung cancer. Cindy completed 3 international oncology Phase 3 trials within 5 years. In 2018, they joined Renown Pharma Inc as a Past Board Member. In 2020, they became the CEO/Founder of Eagles Ridge Executive Consulting L.L.C. and provided strategic input for clinical/market development and C-suite expertise for companies at early stages of growth. Cindy also became an Independent Director and Chairman of Pacylex Pharmaceuticals, Inc. that same year. In 2021, they joined HiberCell as an Independent Board Director.

Cindy Jacobs Ph.D., M.D. completed their Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree at the University of Washington - School of Medicine between 1984 and 1989. Cindy then completed a Women-in-Bio Board-Certification Course at The George Washington University in 2016. In 1982, Jacobs completed their Ph.D. Veterinary Pathology/Microbiology at Washington State University's College of Veterinary Medicine. Prior to that, they earned their M.S. Veterinary Pathology/Microbiology at the same school between 1980 and 1982. Jacobs began their educational journey in 1975 when they completed their B.S. Microbiology at Montana State University-Bozeman in 1979.
