Furter Urs

Furter Urs has over 30 years of work experience in various technical and managerial roles. Furter most recently served as the VP Engineering, Identification Technologies (IDT) - BU at HID Global, where they were responsible for program management of government identification projects and led a technical sales support team. Prior to that, they served as a Technical Director at HRAND DJEVAHIRDJIAN SA, where they oversaw all technical activities of the company and led multiple teams. Furter also worked as an RFID Expert and Consultant at IDtek Track-and-Trace SA and as an R&D Manager at SOKYMAT SA, where they developed numerous product families and managed a product development department. Earlier in their career, they held roles as a Development Engineer at Compagnie Industrielle Radioélectrique SA, an R&D Manager Assistant at Zumbach Electronics AG, and a Development Engineer at Landis & Gyr. Throughout their career, Furter Urs has demonstrated expertise in project and program management, technical supervision, team leadership, and product development.

Furter Urs attended Ecole d'Ingénieurs du canton de Neuchâtel from 1982 to 1987, where they obtained a degree in Engineer ETS (HES) in electronics and electrotechnics with an option in optics.
