Richard Aufreiter

Richard Aufreiter has extensive work experience in product management and marketing. Richard began their career in 1994 at Utimaco Safeware AG as a Senior Product Manager, where they stayed until 2009. From 2009 to 2010, they worked as a Senior Product Manager at Sophos. Since 2010, Aufreiter has been with HID Global, starting as a Product Line Manager and progressing to Director of Product Management - Identification Technologies. Currently, they hold the position of VP Product Marketing at HID Global.

Richard Aufreiter obtained their master's degree in Mathematics/Computer Science from Johannes Kepler Universität Linz, from 1987 to 1993. Richard also attended Peuerbach Gymnasium Linz from 1983 to 1986. In terms of additional certifications, they obtained the MIFARE Certified Sales Manager certification from NXP Semiconductors in 2019, the Certified Showpad Administrator - Advanced Level certification from Showpad in 2017, the Leading Product Development certification from Harvard Business School in 2007, and the Masterclass Digital Photography certification from WIFI der Wirtschaftskammer Wien in 2007.
