Mahesh A. has extensive work experience in the field of information security and risk management.

Mahesh is currently serving as the Chief Information Security Officer at Hidden Road, a position they have held since June 2022.

Prior to that, Mahesh was a Member of the Governing Body for the San Francisco CISO Executive Summit, starting in January 2019.

Mahesh is also a Member of InfraGard since August 2020 and an Executive Member of the CyberEdBoard Community since the same year.

From August 2020 to April 2023, Mahesh served as a Task Force Member for Compliance & Payments at the Sovrin Foundation.

Before joining Hidden Road, Mahesh was an Information Security & Cyber Risk Leader at Square from November 2020 to August 2022.

Prior to Square, they were the Senior Vice President of IT Risk & Security at BNP Paribas (Bank of the West) from January 2019 to November 2020.

Mahesh had a long tenure of eight years at Bank of the West, where they served as the VP of IT & Security Engineering from June 2010 to December 2018.

Mahesh also has experience in the healthcare industry, serving as a Member of the Advisory Board & Angel Investor for a startup in healthcare from October 2008 to September 2012.

Mahesh's early career includes a role as Director of Technology at Gap Inc. from February 2007 to May 2010.

Mahesh A. has had a diverse education history with a focus on information systems, security, and management. In 1987, they obtained a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Civil Engineering from Osmania University. Mahesh then pursued further education and received a Master of Science (MS) degree in Engineering from the University of Iowa between 1991 and 1993.

In 2009, Mahesh A. attended Villanova University, where they obtained a Green Belt certification in Six Sigma. During the same year, they also completed a Project Management course at Stanford University. In 2012, they expanded their knowledge in the field of banking and financial support services by completing a diploma program at the Pacific Coast Banking School.
