Jim Hubbard

Managing Director, Employee Benefits at Higginbotham

Jim co-founded Higginbotham’s Financial Services Division in 1989 when he joined Higginbotham. Today, he is one of 40 managing directors enlisted to help develop and disseminate the agency’s best practices. As an employee benefits broker and consultant, he manages the plan design, implementation and account services of large regional and national employer groups’ benefits plans, including medical, dental, vision, long and short-term disability.

Jim has brokered life and health plans for more than 20 years, during which time he has also managed a staff of up to 60 employees. Prior to joining Higginbotham, he was a sales agent for New York Life Insurance Company.

He is a member of the Association of Health Insurance Agents and the Texas Association of Life Underwriters, past Chair of Habitat for Humanity, Habitat Capital Campaign Chair, Fort Worth Country Day Trustee and Advancement Chair.

Jim earned a bachelor of business administration/finance degree in 1984 from the University of North Texas.
