Rick Ernzen has a diverse work experience in the financial industry. Rick started their career at OppenheimerFunds in 2008 as a Vice President and Senior Advisor Consultant, where they focused on developing and maintaining relationships with financial advisors to increase territory sales of mutual funds. In 2019, they joined Higginbotham as a Vice President, specializing in Retirement Plan Services and Executive Benefits. Rick currently holds this position and is responsible for providing expertise in these areas. Prior to that, Rick also had a role as a Vice President at American Century Investments, where they were involved in territory sales.

Rick Ernzen CFP® CRPS® received their Bachelor of Science degree in Business, Management, Marketing, and Related Support Services from Saint Ambrose University in Davenport, IA, during the period of 1989 to 1993. In addition to their degree, they have obtained certifications such as the Certified Retirement Plan Specialist from the College for Financial Planning in 2019, and is also a Certified Financial Planner (CFP) through the CFP Board and College for Financial Planning.
