Andrew Shannon

Andrew Shannon is an experienced construction and transport management professional currently serving as the Area Manager for Transport Rebuild East Coast at Higgins since August 2021. In this role, Andrew leads the reconstruction efforts for State Highway and Kiwirail networks in Tairawhiti and Hawkes Bay. Previous positions include General Manager at Russell Roads Limited, Project Delivery Lead at Stantec, and Senior Construction Manager at Russell Roads Limited, among others. Andrew's extensive background includes overseeing projects valued up to $10 million and managing significant changes and challenges, such as those posed by Cyclone Gabrielle. Andrew holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Civil Engineering from the University of Canterbury and a Business Diploma from NZQA.
