Dion Sinclair

Dion Sinclair has extensive experience in the road and construction industry, currently serving as Regional Manager - Waikato and Head of Road Technology at Higgins since August 2020. Prior to this role, Dion held various positions including Business Manager/Director at Specialised Roading Equipment from November 2013 to June 2019, and Operational Improvement Manager - Transportation at Downer New Zealand between July 2011 and October 2013. Dion's earlier career includes significant roles at Fulton Hogan, spanning nearly a decade, where responsibilities included Taranaki Branch Manager and Executive Divisional Manager - Surfacing. Additionally, Dion worked as a Roading Engineering Technician at Matamata Piako District Council and a Surveyor at J Swap Contractors. Educational qualifications include a Diploma of Managerial Excellence in Engineering and Construction from The Academy of Constructing Excellence, a Diploma in Highway Engineering from NZIHT, and an NZCE in Civil Engineering from Otago Polytechnic | Te Pūkenga.
