Eric Tobias

Partner at High Alpha

Eric Tobias is a Partner at High Alpha, a venture studio that conceives, launches, and scales software companies. Prior to joining High Alpha, Eric was the co-founder and CEO of Mandolin, a Y Combinator-backed startup that was acquired by Doximity in 2016.

Before starting Mandolin, Eric was the co-founder and CEO of Boardable, a board management software company that they took from idea to launch in just six weeks. Eric also co-founded Forty5, a social media platform for live events that was acquired by The Vogue Theater in 2014.

In addition to their work in the startup world, Eric has also served as an advisor and early investor in several companies, including Woven, MetaCX, and Structural.

Eric Tobias attended Cathedral High School and then Indiana University Bloomington.
