Vice Chairman, Exhibitions at High Museum of Art

Liza Jancik is the Vice Chairman of Exhibitions at the High Museum of Art. Liza has over 20 years of experience in the museum industry, having served as a curator at several museums across the country. Prior to their current position, they were a Museum Consultant from December 2015 to May 2017. From August 2015 to December 2015, they served as the Executive Director of the Museum of the American Arts and Crafts Movement. From June 2003 to August 2015, they were the Margot B. Perot Senior Curator of Decorative Arts and Design at the Dallas Museum of Art. Prior to that, they served as Deputy Director and Chief Curator at the Columbia Museum of Art from February 2002 to May 2003 and as Curator of Decorative Arts at the Columbia Museum of Art from January 2000 to January 2002. Liza began their career as Curator of Decorative Arts and the Owens-Thomas House at the Telfair Museum of Art from January 1999 to January 2000.

Liza Jancik went to the University of South Carolina-Columbia for their Bachelor of Arts in Theirtory and then completed their Master of Arts in Theirtory (Public Theirtory) at the same school.
