Hannah McLean, OLY, is an accomplished former New Zealand Olympic swimmer and a medalist at the World Swimming Championships and Commonwealth Games, specializing in backstroke. With a competitive career spanning from 1994 to 2007, notable achievements include a bronze medal in the 200m backstroke at the 2006 FINA World Championships and multiple Commonwealth Games medals, along with a championship record in the 100m backstroke. In addition to their sporting honors, Hannah has built a professional career in sports management, currently serving as the HPSNZ PM Scholarship Athlete Internship Lead and Athlete Advisor at High Performance Sport New Zealand since February 2017, and previously held roles at Steel Performance Solutions and Progressive Sports and Entertainment. Hannah holds a Bachelor of Arts in English and Classical Studies from The University of Auckland, completed in 2004.
