Dave Combs

Dave Combs has extensive experience in various leadership and philanthropic roles, currently serving as the overseer of the David M. Combs & Linda M. Combs Scholarship at East Tennessee State University since July 2021. As the founder of Combs Music since 1981, Dave Combs produces and markets soothing instrumental music across multiple platforms, while also authoring books and engaging in photography. In addition, Dave Combs has been involved in higher education through the Combs Celebrate Freedom Scholarship at Wake Forest University School of Business since 1992 and has participated as a member of the Board of Visitors at High Point University since April 2020. Previous roles include Chief Information Officer at the United States Department of Agriculture and various management positions at AT&T Network Systems and Western Electric. Educational credentials include an MBA from Wake Forest University and a BS in Mathematics and Computer Science from East Tennessee State University.
