Andy Boorn

Andy Boorn is an accomplished executive with extensive experience in leadership roles across various organizations in the scientific and technology sectors. Currently serving as Vice President at High Q Technologies since September 2022, Andy previously held positions including VP of R&D and CEO at the same company, which focuses on quantum computing innovations for spectroscopy applications. Andy's previous roles include Chairman and CEO of Tornado Spectral Systems, where the HyperFlux Pro+ Raman spectrometers were developed, and President of Bruker Chemical and Applied Markets Division, responsible for significant restructuring and operational improvements. With a strong background in consulting and operational strategy, Andy has also led successful business transformations and growth initiatives at ABSciex and MDS Analytical Technologies. Educational qualifications include a PhD in Analytical Chemistry from Georgia Institute of Technology and an MBA from the University of Toronto.
