Michelle Hettinga

Michelle Hettinga is a Junior Beleidsadviseur at Zorgverzekeraars Nederland since March 2024, focusing on quality projects in healthcare. Currently participating in the High Select Traineeship, Michelle also holds the role of Beleid en Management Trainee at High Select BV, dedicated to developing young professionals in the healthcare sector. Previous experiences include project support roles at Veiligheidsregio Utrecht and as a project leader at Ambulancezorg Groningen, where evaluation of training programs was a key responsibility. Michelle's research internships at RIVM and UMCG contributed to important studies in immunology and transplantation. Academically, Michelle holds a Master’s degree in Biomedical Sciences and a Bachelor’s degree in Life Science and Technology from the University of Groningen, along with relevant minors and qualifications from secondary education institutions.
