Syed Mehar Ali Shah

Syed Mehar Ali Shah has worked in the IT industry since 2014. At High Tech Innovations, LLC, they held the position of Team Lead Security Operations Center from 2017 to present. In this role, they developed Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and use cases for monitoring and handling different types of security events, gathered threat intelligence to ensure that detection methods were effective against current threats, monitored alert queues, responded to security alerts, and handled events as part of the Security Incident Management Process. Syed Mehar also held the role of NOC Support Specialist, where they implemented, maintained, and monitored clients' networks, servers, and desktops, provided Tier2 network support, monitoring, and troubleshooting of clients' networks, servers, and desktops, and tracked, resolved, and closed trouble tickets. Prior to this, they were a NOC Engineer at Zong CMPak Ltd from 2014.

Syed Mehar Ali Shah has a Master degree in Project Management from SZABIST Islamabad, obtained between 2017 and 2019. Syed Mehar also has a Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering from Comsats Institute of Science and Technology Islamabad, obtained between 2009 and 2013. In addition, they have obtained several certifications, including Cybersecurity Fundamentals for Engineers from ConnectWise (2021), MCSA: Windows Server 2016 - Certified 2018 from Microsoft (2018), MCSE: Cloud Platform and Infrastructure - Certified 2018 from Microsoft (2018), and Project Management Professional (PMP) from Project Management Institute (2020).
