Alyson MacDonell

Alyson MacDonell serves as the Club Director and Head Coach of the 17/18U State level volleyball team at High Velocity Sports, overseeing team practices and maintaining relationships with parents and players. Previously, Alyson held positions as a Sales Enablement Representative at Akadeum Life Sciences, Inc., and as Science Associate II at BioIVT, where responsibilities included tumor dissociation and cell isolation. Alyson also contributed to health initiatives and sports leagues at Cayman Chemical as a member of the Health and Wellness Committee. Earlier roles included Junior Varsity Volleyball Coach at Pinckney Community High School, Tutor at Grand Valley State University, and Intern at the Center for Arrhythmia Research, focusing on stem cell research. Alyson obtained a Bachelor’s Degree in Biomedical Sciences from Grand Valley State University in 2015.
