Penny Wycherley

Penny Wycherley is currently the Governor at Highbury College. Penny has extensive experience in leadership positions within the field of education.

Penny began their career in education 28 years ago. Her first position was with City of Portsmouth College, where they served as the Chief Executive Officer (interim) for a brief period of time. Penny then took on the role of Principal and CEO (interim) at City College Plymouth. After 8 months of retirement, Penny was ready for a new challenge and took on the role of Interim Principal and CEO at Highbury College in December 2019.

Penny is passionate about making a difference in education and enhancing opportunities for young people and adults. Penny believes that successful management of learning and finances are two parallel tracks that support and enhance each other. Under their leadership, Highbury College has seen great success.

Penny Wycherley went to Brockenhurst Grammar School, University of Leeds, The Open University, University of Kent, and University of Portsmouth.
