Mauricio Salazar

Mauricio Salazar is a dedicated professional currently serving as a Student Support Specialist at Higher Ground a Resource Center since July 2022. With a strong background in customer service from over a decade of experience as a server and bartender at Villa Peru Restaurant, which concluded in December 2022, Mauricio also has experience in education, having worked as a tutor for Kumon North America, Inc. from August 2016 to April 2017, assisting elementary and middle school students in math, reading, and writing. Mauricio holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Literacy Learning & Leadership from the University of Arizona, earned in May 2022.
