Kelly Cherwin (Fask) has a diverse work experience in various industries.

From 2008 to present, they have worked at HigherEdJobs, initially as a Communications Editor and then as the Director of Editorial Strategy. In these roles, they managed the editorial process, developed and executed quality content, and distributed it to engage the higher education community. Kelly also co-hosted the HigherEdJobs Podcast and was involved in planning and conducting web interview series.

Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology- Ecology, Evolution and Behavior from the University of Minnesota in 1997. Before attending the University of Minnesota, Kelly studied Biology-Zoology at St. Cloud St. University from 1992 to 1995. In addition to their formal education, Kelly has also acquired a certification in Ethics in Management from the Quinlan School of Business at Loyola University Chicago.
