Chief Exploration Geologist at HighGold Mining

Nathan Steeves has a diverse work experience in the field of geology. Nathan is currently serving as the Chief Exploration Geologist at HighGold Mining Inc. since May 2020. Prior to this role, they worked as an Exploration Manager at Constantine Metal Resources Ltd (3CQ) from January 2018 to May 2020. Nathan also pursued their PhD in geology as a PhD Candidate at CODES University of Tasmania from November 2013 to January 2018. Before that, they worked as a Geologist at Constantine Metal Resources Ltd. from June 2009 to August 2013, and as an Exploration/Production Geologist at Hecla Greens Creek Mining Company in 2013. Nathan began their career as a Graduate Field Geologist at Hunter Bay Mining from May 2007 to October 2007, and as a Field Geologist at Northwest Territories Geoscience Office from May 2005 to September 2006.

From 2002 to 2007, they attended the University of Alberta, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree with a specialization in Geology. Following this, they pursued further studies at the University of Ottawa from 2010 to 2012, earning a Master of Science degree in Economic Geology. Finally, from 2013 to 2017, Nathan Steeves attended the University of Tasmania, where they obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree with a focus on Economic Geology.
