Amy Owen, PHR, SHRM-CP has extensive experience in the field of human resources. Amy started their career as a Staffing Assistant at Spherion in 1999 and later joined HQ Global as an HR Analyst in 2002.
In 2004, Amy joined RadioShack Corporation, where they served as a Corporate Recruiter, responsible for sourcing and hiring qualified candidates for various positions. Amy also took on the role of a Project Program Manager, leading major HR programs and process change initiatives. Amy collaborated with management and internal clients to define business requirements and developed project plans.

From 2006 to 2011, Amy worked at Jacobs Engineering as an HR Business Partner, supporting multiple lines of business in the Dallas and Fort Worth offices. Amy developed and managed HR activities and programs for approximately 600 employees.
Since 2011, Amy has been working at Highland Homes. Amy started as the Director of Human Resources and later became the Vice President of Human Resources. In these roles, they provided strategic guidance and tactical support across multiple HR disciplines, such as employee benefits, talent acquisition, performance management, employee communications, and organizational change. Amy also led and inspired the HR team to deliver exceptional service and build capabilities to achieve established goals and initiatives.

Amy Owen, PHR, SHRM-CP, holds a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree in Organizational Behavior & Human Resources Management from the University of North Texas. In addition, they have obtained the Professional in Human Resources (PHR®) certification from the HR Certification Institute - HRCI in January 2007. Amy also holds the SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) certification from SHRM, obtained in May 2015.
